Chevrolet is pleased to announce product and pricing
information for the all-new Chevrolet Spark, order banks for which
open 11 December 2009. This all-new modern city car will be the
successor to the Matiz and signals a new beginning for Chevrolet in
the mini-car segment offering value for money that's as enticing as
its vibrant new looks.
Set to arrive in Chevrolet retailers
from Spring 2010, the all-new Spark offers modern styling, stereo
with aux-in and USB socket, as well as practicality, low fuel
consumption and low emissions. And with prices starting at just
£6,945 on-the-road, Spark is also an economical proposition for
fleet operator needs.

delivery to retailer, 12 months' Vehicle Excise Duty and new
vehicle first registration fee of £55.00. Excludes fuel and

Government changes in the rate of VAT. At the time of
publication the prevailing rate of VAT is 15%, legislation is
in place to increase this to 17.5% from 1 January 2010.

Performance, fuel economy and emissions:
With CO2 emissions under
the all-important 120g/km threshold, Spark models can reduce your
carbon footprint as well as generating significant savings for your
business in terms of fuel costs and VED. From 1 April 2010, good
news is Spark models are eligible for the new Band C zero first year
rate. Drivers too will be pleased to see low Benefit-in-Kind tax for
the all-new Spark. In fact, a 20% tax payer driving the entry level
model will only face a BiK bill of £11.42 per
month!*1

March 2010, £35 Vehicle Excise Duty will apply to all models. This
will be paid for by Chevrolet UK Limited. From 1 April
2010, the new first year rate of VED will apply, which is £0.00 to
all Spark models.

Entry Spark Trim
Specification:
The entry-level Spark will be offered
with a 1.0-litre engine developing 68PS, coupled to a five-speed
manual gearbox. Despite being the smallest car in the Chevrolet
line-up, it comes with six airbags as standard, proving that even
the smallest cars can offer class-leading safety. The model recently
achieved an excellent four-star Euro NCAP rating for adult
protection, with a maximum five stars for child protection.

an 81PS 1.2-litre engine, and adds remote central locking,

surround, front fog lights and a body-colour rear spoiler.
