17 December 2008
Hot off
the press, we are delighted to announce that for the
second year running, Corsavan has been awarded the title
of What Van? "Small Van of the Year 2008".
This prestigious
publication cited Corsavan's road manners, fuel economy
and modern, streamlined styling as the key features that
made it more attractive than its rivals. |
|
Small vans with low running
costs have never been more popular and the Vauxhall Corsavan
is the best of the lot. What Van? Editor Neil McIntee
even commented "What's more, Corsavan comes with all of the
virtues of the car on which it is based. As a consequence, it
comfortably outclasses similar products so far as driveability
is concerned" giving it extra appeal in a heavily competitive
sector.

Movano
There are no product
changes to the base Movano vehicle for Model Year 2009.5,
however we are pleased to announce the addition of two new
Recognised Conversions: Movano Car Transporter and Movano
Grounds Maintenance Vehicle.
|

|
Both of these
conversions will be undertaken by
RoadloadTM who are based in Norfolk and
wholly owned by Portaramp Ltd. Portaramp specialises in the
manufacture of lightweight, portable and semi-permanent ramp
items and have utilised their expertise in this field to
develop unique vehicle conversions. Manufactured from an
ultra-light honeycombed aluminium material developed for the
aerospace industry, this gives them strength and durability,
whilst remaining extremely light weight.
This means that both
vehicles will offer a very good payload capability within
their Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). An approved Recognised
Conversion for a Car Transporter is a great addition to the
Movano product offer and the Grounds Maintenance vehicle
market is building, with councils for example, at the 3.5t
weight range.
Full details of these
two Movano-based conversions will be issued as a 4-page
brochure available in January on the GM Product Forum (www.gmproductforum.co.uk). In the
meantime, please find the contact details for
RoadloadTM below. If you would
like more information regarding the above new Recognised
Conversions, please do not hesitate to contact them
