Vauxhall Model Year 2009 Product Update

No-one gets ahead in life by standing still, and Vauxhall – like the other successful brands in the GM UK Fleet portfolio – is fully committed to a policy of continuous product improvement.

Reflecting this commitment, we are pleased to advise you of the following changes to our Car and Commercial Vehicle line-ups for 2009 Model Year, order banks for which are now officially open.

Exciting news for our Ecoflex line-up

Corsa

Reflecting the popularity of our environmentally friendly EcoFlex models, the 1.3CDTi 16v (75PS) engine (119g/km) is now available for Corsa SXi and Design models. With CO₂ figures below 120g/km, these ultra low emission models fall within the lowest, 13%, diesel band for Benefit-in-Kind tax.^*1 Yet despite the beneficial effect on your drivers' tax position, these new variants are priced at just £805 (OTR) above existing 1.2i 16v petrol versions.^*2

Agila

In line with our current low CO₂ range,the EcoFlex badge replaces the engine badging on the New Agila 1.3CDTi 16v diesel and will also be applied to the 1.0i 12v petrol variant.

Vauxhall Passenger Car Product Update

Corsa

As mentioned in our previous e-bulletin, our popular Corsa Breeze and Breeze Plus Special Edition models have been replaced by the stylish new Active and Active Plus variants.

Other changes announced to the Corsa line-up for Model Year 2009 include:

VXR dark-style rear lights are now fitted as standard to SXi and SRi models
SXi and SRi also benefit from dark tinted glass (excludes windscreen and front windows)
Fuse Garnet Red seat fabric is replaced by Twist Charcoal fabric with red stitching on SXi versions
Sports steering/suspension is replaced with standard steering/suspension on SXi models; sports steering/suspension will continue to be available in conjunction with optional 17-inch alloy wheels
Cost option Winter Pack (heated front seats and steering wheel) introduced on Club, Design, SXi and SRi models
The centre console trim on Club models changes from Satin Stone to Matt Chrome; the Piano Black centre console is retained on models featuring Cable Indian Red interior trim
Exterior colour Green Spirit is now more widely available on Life, Club and Design trim levels (previously restricted to EcoFlex models)
New exterior colour Beech Green is introduced
Exterior colour Sunny Melon is deleted
Dark tinted glass (excludes windscreen and front windows) has been introduced as an option on VXR models
All trims except VXR now feature a Seat Map Pocket on the back of the Driver’s and Front Passenger’s seat
Vauxhall-branded front door sill plates now fitted as standard to Design models
Non air conditioned version of 1.7CDTi 16v SRi model is deleted

Tigra

Exterior colour Flame Red is deleted
New exterior colour Power Red is introduced
Optional 17-inch Alloy Wheels are deleted on Air models
Optional Graphic Information Display (including trip computer) is deleted on Air models
Optional CD 70 stereo radio/CD player with MP3 format/satellite navigation is deleted on Air models
CDC 40 stereo radio/CD autochanger is deleted across the range

Meriva

Special Edition Breeze and Breeze Plus models are replaced by new Active and Active Plus variants. More information will be forwarded to you at a later date
Punch Red interior trim is deleted on Club models
Optional front passenger’s seat with fold-flat facility is deleted
Electronic Climate Control (ECC) no longer features glovebox cooling
Exterior colour Sunny Melon is deleted
New exterior colour Green Spirit is introduced
Air conditioning is now fitted as standard to all models equipped with the 1.7CDTi 16v engine
New Structure Wheel covers are introduced on Design models (see Image A below)

Astra

Special Edition Breeze and Breeze Plus models are replaced by new Active and Active Plus variants. Once again, more details will follow in due course
Electronic Climate Control (ECC) no longer features glovebox cooling
Air quality sensor is no longer part of Electronic Climate Control (ECC) option
Optional Premium Plus Pack is deleted on Club models
Optional 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels are deleted on Club models
Optional 15-inch alloy wheels are deleted on Club models
Tinted glass now optional at extra cost on VXR models
New exterior colours Green Spirit and Technical Grey are introduced
Tabita/Elba and Charcoal/Charcoal seat fabric replaced by Twist/Elba, Charcoal/Charcoal seat fabric on Club models
Astra VXR Nürburgring Edition is discontinued
Aluminium pedals now available on Sport Hatch only (SXi, SRi, SRi XP and VXR models)
New Structure Wheel covers are introduced on Club models and will also feature in the Club Plus Pack (see Image A below)

Astra TwinTop

New Structure Wheel covers are introduced on Air models (see Image A below)
New 16-inch Alloy Wheels are introduced on Sport models (see Image B below)
New exterior colour Technical Grey is introduced
Exterior colour Digital Green is deleted
Alpha Silver/Signal Red seat fabric is deleted on Sport models
Design models can now be specified with Electronic Climate Control (ECC) at extra cost

Zafira

Special Edition Breeze and Breeze Plus models are replaced by new Active and Active Plus variants. We’ll be sending you more information on these new models in the coming months
New Structure Wheel covers are introduced on Exclusiv models (see Image A below)
New exterior colours Green Spirit and Technical Grey are introduced
Exterior colour Steel Blue is deleted
Aluminium pedals no longer available on SRi and SRi XP models
Air quality sensor is no longer part of Electronic Climate Control (ECC) option

Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles Product Update

In addition, Vauxhall are introducing some minor changes to the Commercial Vehicle range.

Corsavan

Smoker Pack is deleted on all models (12-volt electric accessory socket is retained)
Trim changes from Fuse/Elba to Twist/Elba on Sportive models; the same models now feature a dark-tinted rear window as standard
The list price of Corsavan Sportive 1.3CDTi 16v (90PS) models increases slightly by £15 (ex VAT). The new price is £10,570.00 ex VAT (£11,335.21 on-the-road RRP ex VAT)

Astravan

New 16-inch Structure Wheels are fitted as standard to Sportive models (see Image B)
16-inch Alloy Wheels are now optional at extra cost (see image C)
