Vauxhall Price Rise Notification

1 August 2008 At GM UK Fleet, we are committed to keeping you up to date with regard to vehicle pricing. As part of this commitment, we can advise you that the on-the-road recommended retail price (RRP) of most Vauxhall Cars and selected options will rise by an average of 2.5% with effect from 4 August 2008.
A printed copy of our revised Vauxhall Car & Accessory Price Guide will be mailed to you to arrive 4 August 2008. The on-the-road pricing realignments summarised below are in relation to the Vauxhall Car & Accessory Price Guide effective 2 July 2008 Edition 1.
Tigra Air trim level increases by £350 Sport Rouge 1.3CDTi 16v models increase by £375 Exclusiv models increase by £380 All other models increase by £325 Corsa All Expression and SRi trim levels increase by £200 VXR models increase by £200 (excluding the VXR Arctic edition which remains at £16,995 on-the-road) All other Corsa 3-door and 5-door models increase by £235 5-door premium over 3-door models increases by additional £25, from £700 to £725 1.3CDTi 16v (75PS) and 1.3CDTi 16v (90PS) models increase by an additional £100 For example, Corsa 5-door Design 1.3CDTi 16v models will increase by £235, £25 and £100 - a total of £360 Meriva Expression trim level increase by £215 VXR models increase by £240 Design and Design with Exterior Pack models increase by £355 All other Meriva models increase by £310 Astra Astra hatchback Expression model is now £11,955 OTR VXR models increase by £250 All other Astra models increase by £370 Automatic and Easytronic models increase by £100 5-door estate premium over hatchback models increases by an additional £50, from £850 to £900 Zafira All models (except VXR) increase by £420 There is no increase on Zafira VXR 2.2i 16v Direct automatic premium over 2.2i 16v Direct manual increases by £150 1.9CDTi (120PS) automatic premium over 1.9CDTi (120PS) manual increases by £35 1.8i 16v VVT Easytronic premium over 1.8i 16v VVT manual increases by £25 Vectra All Vectra models increase by £450 VXR8 All VXR8 models increase by £300 These new prices will be effective from 00.01hrs on 4 August 2008, therefore all orders received prior to midnight on 3 August 2008 will be processed at the current price. In line with our price protection policy, this protection does not apply to price adjustments caused by Government changes in the rate of VAT (currently 17.5%), Vehicle Excise Duty or DVLA New Vehicle First Registration Fee.
