As part of our service to business customers, GM UK Fleet remains committed to keeping you fully informed of changes to vehicle pricing.
Following the Chancellor's Pre-Budget Report on 24 November, the on-the-road prices of Cadillac, Saab, HUMMER, Vauxhall and Chevrolet models will be adjusted to reflect the cut in Value Added Tax (VAT) to 15% from 17.5%.
All pricing re-alignments are effective 1 December 2008 and will only impact the on-the-road prices of our vehicles, therefore, all basic list prices are unchanged. For your information, this is a temporary reduction in VAT to 15% and is planned to be in place until 31 December 2009.

Cadillac Price Guide
The Cadillac Price Guide, effective 1 December 2008, has been amended to show the revised VAT, Total Price and on-the-road Price including the updated delivery charge of £538.30.

Saab Price Guide
A PDF of the Saab Price Guide (1 December 2008, Issue 4) is provided in the link above. This latest issue includes the change to VAT, RRP and Total on-the-road Price including the amended delivery charge of £611.70. We have also taken this opportunity to amend the Company Car Taxation section of the Price Guide to show the eligibility of our BioPower models for the 2% reduction in Benefit-in-Kind tax. A hard copy Price Guide will be mailed to you mid December.
The HUMMER H3 Price Sheet, effective 1 December 2008, has been amended to show the revised VAT, Total Price and on-the-road Price including the updated delivery charge of £533.40 This can be downloaded in a summary PDF format by clicking on the link provided. An updated PDF of the full Price Sheet will be sent to you in January 2009.
Vauxhall Car and Accessory Price Guide
The Vauxhall Car and Accessory Price Guide, effective 1 December 2008, has been updated to incorporate changes to VAT, Total Price and on-the-road RRP including the delivery charge of £609.74.
All new Insignia models are now featured in our Car and Accessory Price Guide, replacing the Insignia Price Guide effective 2 October 2008 which was recently mailed. A PDF of the Car and Accessory Pride Guide has been provided in the link above, with hard copies due for delivery mid December.
Vauxhall Commercial Vehicle and Accessory Price Guide
As the Recommended Retail Price of our Commercial Vehicles is exclusive of VAT, the on-the-road prices have not changed in light of the Chancellor's announcement. Therefore, the CV Price Guide (effective 3 October 2008) which we recently mailed to you is still current.
Please note that Vivaro Combi and Movano SWB Combi models are the exception to the above and are subject to VAT and therefore have seen an adjustment in OTR prices - details of which can be found in the attached Vauxhall Car and Accessory Price Guide, effective 1 December 2008.

Future GM Price Guides - no printed copies
We all share a responsibility to look after our world and GM UK Fleet has always been at the forefront of looking at initiatives to reduce our environmental impact. We have therefore, made the decision to move away from printing and mailing hard copy Price Guides in 2009 and instead will provide all pricing information online in PDF file formats. We hope you will agree that this is a more economical and efficient way of communicating our pricing to you, our customers.
Please be assured that we will continue to send you our e-bulletin notifications when a new edition Price Guide is released for any brand in the GM UK Fleet portfolio.
