TAX: TAX CALCULATOR

This tax calculator is designed to assist you in assessing the Benefit-in-Kind tax and, for those who receive free fuel the Fuel Benefit Charge payable, on your new company car - both for the current Tax Year and the next two Tax Years. However, GM does not offer tax advice to individuals, and recommends that all company car drivers consult their own accountant with regards to their particular tax position.

Simply select the model you are interested in, then use the drop-down menus to provide details of the vehicle. Next, insert the value of any accessories to be fitted and the amount of any Capital contribution you may be making. Finally, indicate your tax band and whether or not your employer pays for private use of fuel - and your total tax liability will be displayed for the current tax year.

The Government has announced changes in calculating your tax liability in the future - to encourage the use of 'cleaner' vehicles. Select 'calculate tax for future years' to see the effect it will have on your pocket over the next two years. However, note that Basic Rate and Higher Rate for tax payers is as currently prevailing.
